Why did they radiate laser?

Suspected Chinese lasers target US aircraft over the Pacific, US military source says
https://edition.cnn.com/2018/06/22/politics/pacific-ocean-us-military-jets-lasers-intl/index.html

China's authority should investigate on whether laser was really targeted US aircraft. It's not the only problem about intimidation but also the problem about US soldiers' health.
If someone radiate laser on your eye, you will lose your eyesight.

So, Chinese government should strictly warn soldiers on site not to radiate laser recklessly.

Why was Burmese alphabet used there?

Bagalkot – Khajjidoni railway opens
http://www.railwaygazette.com/news/infrastructure/single-view/view/bagalkot-khajjidoni-railway-opens.html

I was interested in Burmese alphabet on front of the locomotive on the picture rather than inauguration itself.
There seems to be 3 languages on the board. The bottom is English, the medium is Indian script, the upper is Burmese alphabet.

It's mysterious that Burmese alphabet is used in Southwestern part of India, which is far from border with Myanmar.

Why transparent architecture is not suitable in humid countries?

Sou Fujimoto, the visionary blending architecture with nature, eyes the future
https://edition.cnn.com/style/article/sou-fujimoto-future-architecture/index.html

Though his masterpieces would be worth evaluating, I guess they are not suitable for Japan's climate.
What features climate in East Asia during summer is high humidity and high temperature.
It's dubious that his architecture surrounded by glass gives us comfortable environment.
Most of the transparent walls absorb sunlight and raise temperature inside the house like greenhouse.
So, at least, his architecture mustn't be actually used in Japan.

Why is BTS so crowded?

Siemens and Bozankaya roll out Bangkok Skytrain vehicle
http://www.metro-report.com/news/news-by-region/asia-pacific-ex-china/single-view/view/siemens-and-bozankaya-roll-out-bangkok-skytrain-vehicle.html

As far as the picture on the website shows, some seats are removed, compared with conventional trains.
I wonder why there will be such a crowded train on BTS lines.
One of the reasons for that would be repeated extension of each line.
Since BTS has extended rail lines without constructing new lines, more and more passengers tend to concentrate on conventional lines.

BTS should think about building paralleling railways or increasing tracks to operate rapid trains.

Why is it difficult to persuade general people into accepting nudism?

Paris is hosting a nude picnic and everyone's invited
https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/paris-nude-picnic/index.html

Nudism seems to be spread across France. The other day, I took up museum for nudists.
As well as museum, activities like picnic, bar,or yoga accept nudists.

I'm interested what parents would think, if their daughter or son wants to participate in nude activities.
Conservative parents will be outraged.

Magnitude 6.1 hit Northern Osaka

Though most of the railway lines in Osaka Metropolitan Area suspended their train operations, all of the major railway lines except for JR Nara Line, JR Sagano Line, JR Wakayama Line(Between Oji and Hashimoto), and JR Manyo-Mahoroba Line, resumed train operations.
But, we have to pay attention to aftershock.

Why was it prefered to train?

The Boring Company to build Chicago O’Hare airport link
http://www.metro-report.com/news/news-by-region/americas/single-view/view/the-boring-company-to-build-chicago-ohare-airport-link.html

Boring's plan seems to be boring for rail fan like me.
It's just a vehicle or people mover rather than train.
This vehicle is scheduled to be operated every 30 seconds. But, it would be better to operate trains every 5 mins, considering that such a frequent system would cause traffic jam, if boarding and alighting time is longer than 30 seconds.
I wish designers could plan the transportation again.
