I guess railway promoters in the United States are irritated with super-delayed construction of California High Speed Rail. So, someone began to advocate overnight train, instead of high speed rail to deal with the situation.
I think it would be a good idea. But, it must be difficult to think about how to make it competitive with airplane in terms of fare.
