Izmir Metro Line 1 was extended from Fahrettin Altay to Kaymakamlik today

Line 1 was extended to west along the coast of Aegean Sea. If it's extended to Ancient City of Teos, it would be convenient for tourists. But, I don't know if there is such a huge demand. If not, intercity railway with lower frequency and with higher speed would be an alternative solution.
