Extra train using A3012 was operated between Shin-Shizuoka and Shin-Shimizu on Feb 23, 2024.
At Shin-Shizuoka station from 9:30AM, commemorative accessories and components of 1000 series train were sold. A3012 train were displayed there from 10:00AM on track No.3. Departure ceremony of the train was held at 11:00AM.
Regular operation of the train began from train departing from Shin-Shimizu at 11:28AM.
