Tokyu will add more trains on Shin-Yokohama Line during daytime by timetable revision on March 16, 2024. There will be 8 services per hour, instead of the current 6 services. Local trains on Meguro Line will be used for this additional services

Because this line(Shin-Yokohama Line) opened when Covid-era is about to terminate in Japan, there must be more potential passengers in the future.
So, I can understand why this additional services were determined.
