Why is it called gacha?

Today, I met a man who belongs to supplier of my company. I wondered why he belongs to the company, even though he has nothing to do with his occupational career nor academic career. Today, when I talked with him, he turned out to be a relative of the president of the company.

So, he is rich. In Japan, it's called "His parents are fat" or "Winner of parents gacha"
Gacha stands for gachagacha, meaning toy box which we cannot predict the content until buying one. Then, "Parents gacha" means the fact that we cannot select how rich our parents are before being born.
