My English teacher in college days asked me how often I drink alcohol. I said "On daily basis, I rarely drink alcohol. Instead of alcohol, I usually drink tea"
He was surprised at my response. For some generations, they take it for granted to drink alcohol everyday. But, according to this article, it's excessive drinking for women. There must be individual difference, though.
