Pelosi says US will 'not abandon' Taiwan as China plans military drills

The most impressive thing for me is not her visiting. But, US diplomats including her wear masks in Taiwan. European visitors seem to think it's mandatory or social norm to wear masks in East Asia. It's dangerous trend. It can result in eternal mask requirements in these nations.
People in East Asia are excessively tamed. Most of them don't suspect restrictions imposed by governments, even if it's unreasonable. That may be why they continue to wear masks almost at all of the situations.
