Despite suburban railway of San Francisco, train frequency on Caltrain is not satisfactory. During daytime, there are just one local train per hour and one express train per hour.
It's about 50 minutes by car to move between San Francisco and San Jose. So, it will be difficult to let more people use Caltrain, if current train frequency continues.
