Tram system is becoming popular in main cities of the United States.
But, suburban railway is not popular there except for New York and Bay Area. Some would say that some railway operators like Sounder commuter rail are treated as suburban railways. But, considering the frequency of the trains, it's far from maximizing portions of train users along the railways.
There should be suburban railways like BART in main cities of the United States.
