Elon Musk doesn't know private vehicle-oriented society made US citizens unable to move between many cities on American continents without driving. And it has contributed to mass consumption society of the US. Though it would be difficult for car manufacturers to understand importance of public transportation, they should think about how to make private cars and public transportation compatible.
