Malaysia – Singapore Rapid Transit System project back on

Since high speed rail project between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur is halted, I want a railway system from downtown of Singapore to Jorhor Bahru.
So, tracks of Malaysia-Singapore Rapid Transit should be connected with Thomson-East Coast metro line, and Special Express train should run from Marina Bay to Jorhor Bahru with one stop at Orchard. It means additional checkpoints and platforms have to be built in Marina Bay station and Orchard station.
