When I was in elementary school student, Antarctic ozone layer was said to be in crisis, due to increasing chlorofluorocarbon emitted from coolant of air conditioners. Furthermore, I've seen TV program warning that expansion of the ozone hole would make countries near Antarctic the place in which human beings cannot live because of ultra violet rays. But, with invention of alternative gas, ozone layer recovered.
