Executives of the companies emitting huge parts of carbon must want to pretend their companies are not responsible for global warming. In that case, governments should crack down on such companies. But, it's difficult, if political leaders get bribe from them.
So, remaining way to persuade them into taking measures for global warming is to let them notice their attitudes are embarrassing by civil movements.
As far as there is enough time, we should promote use of alternative transportation mode emitting less greenhouse gas.
