It's surprising that rare pictures were sold at high price in those days. Now that pictures can be shared all over the world at the same time, a picture itself cannot be worthwhile selling.
On the other hand, it's interesting that drawings by specific artists are highly evaluated, and in some cases, it can be millions of dollers.
