Amsterdam is one of the cities where rail transportation is highly developed, even though it just has 8 million population as Randstad, the unit of the megalopolis including the city.
So, it seems to be earnest in installing new train systems like semi-automatic operation without drivers.
I've never heard that conventional rail line where all of the trains are operated by attended drivers installs driverless cars.
