Travel Diary on Jan 24, 2017

I got up early and left the hotel around 5:30 to go to as many places as I can.
I went to McDonald to eat breakfast. There seemed to be a couple of homeless people who are supposed to stay overnight here.
And then, I walked to Grand Central station to take pictures of Metro-North trains.

I left Grand Central for Woodlawn by express train on Line 4.
At First, I tried to take pictures at Yankees Stadium. But,since it was in dawn, I gave up it, and headed for Woodlawn.

From Woodlawn, I walked to 205 St station. The next destination was Rockfeller center and Trump Tower.

205 St station

Since it was in rush hour and the train was bound for downtown, the train was crowded.
I got off at 47-50 St.
Though I tried to go up to Top of the Rock, a staff at the ticketing counter told me "No visibility!". Then, I changed my destination to Trump Tower.

The cable car came to the terminal.
Though it seems to occupy more than 50 passengers, there were less than 10 pasengers on it.

My lunch

A waiter at the restaurant requested me to pay tips for him. Then, I paid 1 or 2 doller(s).
But, his pronunciation was 貼士(Sounds like "Tippsy"), which is the Cantonese word for Tips. So, customers who aren't familiar with China-related culture wouldn't understand what he said.

Since Little Italy is also near Canal St station, I visited there.

The next destination was New York Transit Museum by the following route.
Canal St→4→Spring St→4→Bowling Green→4→Borough Hall
The reason why I went to Spring St was that I rode on an uptown train mistakenly.

I decided to ride on PATH trains to take pictures of trains in New Jersey.
