Most of the political turbulence or turmoil in Thailand is not international issue, but domestic issue. So, when incidents in Thailand is broadcasted overseas, it's not taken up as serious issues.
And also, most of the incidents are not related with Moslem, which doesn't discourage European people who have Islamaforbia to visit Thailand.
And the last reason is that every unsteady situation ends rapidly. It relieves travellers, even if an incident happens.
