I often hear that Thailand financially gives high priority to constructing railways.
In most East Asian or South East Asian countries, rail transport systems are mainly installed as subway systems. But, in Japan, China, South Korea ,and Taiwan, High speed rail systems are also installed.
Recently, Malaysia and Singapore release the plan of high speed rail. And, Thailand seems to follow the trend.
I hope Thai trains, which are famous for delay, will punctually run on high speed rails.
