As I said yesterday, world's food retailers have to reform standard stores to make them suited to local culture.
Starbucks seems to notice that.
3 weeks ago, when I dropped in at Starbucks in Tokyo, a waiter brought me and my wife two cups of matcha-tasted-drink for free. It was a kind of promotional campaign to sell the new drink.
By the way, was it decision by the retail store or headquarter?
