Independence of Tibet, Xinjiang, or Hong Kong causes unrest like Syria?
The answer depends on The Chinese People's Liberation Army. If the army truly believes that these areas shouldn't be independent from China, there will be destructive war between the army and local residents. But, the army doesn't, peace of these areas will be kept.
But, amid this economic prosperity in Mainland China and its vicinity, is there any reason to get democracy with unrest or war?
