Yesterday, I talked about sad events in Nigeria. Today, I'll show you the opposite events.
It's construction planning of the railway extending from east to west.
What made me surprised was the distance between stations. Though it's totaling 1385 km long, it just has 22 stations on the line. So, the average distance is about 66 km. I would think it's appropriate, if it were a high speed rail. But, as long as the article says designed speeds is 120 km/h, it won't be a high speed rail.
Anyway, the rail would pass through rural areas, most of which don't have enough population to construct stations.
