It's similar to the case of haze blowing from China towards S.Korea and Japan. In this case, haze is blowing from Indonesia towards Malaysia and Singapore.
Haze usually blows from west to east, because of westerly.
So, west-side countries have to pay attention to east-side countries.
By the way, the words 'west-side' and 'east-side' don't refer to political meanings.
