The newest maglev train "L0 series train" was open to journalists at Tsuru, Yamanashi, Japan on November 22. The train was produced for operational service, and will be the prototype of operational trains. The train will be thrown into test run for opening in 2027.
The feature of L0 series train is its narrow nose extended sharply which is to reduce air resistance. Highest speed is 500km/h. One car consists of 4th row seating. The terminal cars can accommodate 24 passengers per car, and middle cars can accommodate 68 passengers per car. 14 cars will be produced additionally.

Since 15 years are left before opening, operatinal trains won't be the same as this train.
