When sovereignty of Hong Kong was handed over by China in 1997, China consented to the statement " Hong Kong's previous capitalist system and its way of life would remain unchanged for a period of 50 years "
So, at least, current systems should be maintained until 2047. (Judging from economy in Mainland China, socialism won't be implemented in Hong Kong even after 2047)
But, China is in a hurry to make Hong Kongers blindly believe in what Chinese Communist Party does. Hong Kongers are sensitive to these issues. When I stayed in Hong Kong, many kinds of posters criticizing Chinese Communist Party came into my sight.
I wonder their protests affect the policies of Beijing.
