In Japan, the kind of the meeting party is usually called "Goukon", which is held on purpose of making couples. The most important thing is not whether I can be in good terms with a lady, but how a coordinator on the females side behaves at the party. Though I can't say who she is, she is my senior researcher's acquaintance.
But, I don't know whether the party will be truly held or not.
