Man: Are you a staff in this building?
I: What's floor do you mean?
Man: Preparatory school.
I: Year.
Man: I'm a man living near a junior high school, and my bicycle had been stolen. But, the bicycle was found at the parking lot neighboring to your building.
Maybe, students at your school might have stolen the bicycle. Sorry for suspecting. May I contact your boss?
I: Ah, she is now teaching. Do you mind asking your phone number?
Man: What time will she finish her lecture?
I: Around 4:10〜4:15
Man: Then, I don't have to tell you my number.
I: But, I can't assure that she is free after that time. She is supposed to coach studying students until 9:00. Anyway, I want to ask your phone number in order to inform you of any information
He agreed with my proposal.
I got his number and a picture of the criminal captured by a security camera.
I: I'll tell you if I contact her.
30 mins later, I explained the incident and have the picture checked by my boss.
Then, she replied "I don't know him." with anger.
I called the man and told him the result.
He came to the school and apologized directly to me.
By the way, I couldn't buy a ball-point pen.
