On November 16, Nankai Electric Railway unveiled the plan of opening the new station "Wakayama Daigakumae" in Wakayama city on April 1,2012. It will be opened between Kyoshi and Kinokawa. Express, regional express ,and local trains will stop at the station. Fares and timetables will be delivered on the next February.

It has been incomvenient for us to access to Wakayama University. Students there have to take bus from Nankai Wakayama-shi station. But, the opening of the station will make the accessibility to the university improved dramatically.
