When I heard the news, I doubted it can keep safety when the SL runs. Because Nagoya is the third largest megalopolis in Japan, we can estimate that many rail fan will gather at the station. It must be dangerous. Moreover, because platform screen doors are installed at every station on Aonami line, it is very difficult to adjust the location of doors*1.
Technical problems are now under research. I want to see the report as soon as possible.
*1:A coach pulled by steam locomotive usually has one or two doors, while trains used on Aonami line have three doors per a coach.
