Gathering only men at a hotel and spending one night , which is so called "Men's meeting", has been popular. The group is occupied by middle-aged(30s - 40s) men. The most popular plan is the plan we can eat as many cakes or puddings as we like. Because of the popularity, the hotel extended the term of the plan. Therefore, the hotel serves the plan by the end of this month.
The hotel "Hilton Odawara Resort & Spa" locates on upland from which we can see Sagami Bay in west Shonan.
Usually, the restaurant on the first floor is crowded with families or couples. But, four men whose atmosphere is different from them appear and pick cakes or puddings up one after another. They are guests of the plan prepared by the hotel.
The four men, whose age varies from 20s to 50s and whose occupation is a student or a self-employed or
an employee. The website for "Sweets Boys" made them gather. This is the first time for them to stay over night with them.
One of the men, who is a self-employed from Setagaya, Tokyo, said "I'm forced to care about entertaining females, when I come with females. On the other hand, I don't have to treat them and show off, when I come with men."
They spent a few hours chatting with each other about candy stores and then returned to respective room.
The hotel has invited "Men's meeting" since February 15th. It costs a man more than 15000 YEN. The plan consists of five kinds as "Nomikai(Drinking session)", "sweets", or "Utagoe(Singing voice)". The most popular one is "Sweets", by which we can select 35 kinds of cakes and ice cream on weekends or holidays.
"Nomikai(Drinking session)" is the second.
Though the hotel "Hilton Odawara Resort & Spa" also invites "Women's meeting", it still occupies 20% of total guests. The decrease of guests was concerned due to Tohoku Earthquake. But, Momoko Gonohe, who is in charge of PR of Hilton Tokyo said "It is more popular than I expected. We've got 3 or 4 reservations per day." The guests are usually consist of 4 persons and middle-aged(30s - 40s) persons.

It is sure that we have to care about females' mood. But, rushing into sweets restaurant with 4 men seems strange.
