The girl that came to my laboratory asked me whether the researchers in my laboratory attend a farewell party on next Wednesday.
A boy who accompanied with her asked my professor whether we can attend the farewell party. Then, the professor said to him "Because I'm concerned about my students' low grades, I suspect that my students can't afford to attend the party.".
So, the girl asked me how many credits I need to graduate from the university.
I replied that I need four more credit to graduate from the university. She laughed at me.
I felt all the more uncomfortable for her high grade.
