I'm surprised at Poland accepting US air force. Since Poland was a part of communist states 21 years ago, we can say that it symbolizes the defeat of communists.
At a dinner for 22 regional central and eastern European heads of state, Mr Obama was expected to underline his commitment to a mobile missile defence system that Poland, Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic have volunteered to host.The Polish government was also looking forward to confirmation from the president that a number of US air force F-16 fighter jets would be stationed on their soil, at Wloclawek in central Poland, though Washington has ruled out the two squadrons requested.
