※Hitsumabushi and Unadon is a kind of Japanese foods.
The researcher is from Aichi prefecture.So, He often eat Hitsumabushi ,which is famous as local dish in Aichi.
Hitsumabushi is dish which is rice mixed with cut eel.On the other hand, Unadon is dish which is bowled rice covered with eel.
But, he didn't know the difference between Hitsumabushi and Unadon.
Everytime he saw Unadon, he thought his family was so poor that his mother had to reduce the quantity of eel by cutting it and couldn't eat eel without being cut.
