Why don't they take public transportations?

Taking the complexity out of urban transport ticketing
http://www.metro-report.com/news/technology/single-view/view/taking-the-complexity-out-of-urban-transport-ticketing.html

Especially, one of the reasons why car users hesitate to use public transportation is complexity of rail networks, ticketing systems, and structure of stations.
It would be better to remove one of the factors that discourages people from taking trains.
In terms of complex rail networks, websites informing us of the optimal routes have contributed a lot.

I hope advanced technology would let people take public transportations more easily.

Why is there all-female TV?

This all-female TV station is bringing women's issues to Afghanistan's attention
https://edition.cnn.com/2018/03/06/middleeast/afghanistan-women-zan-tv-station-asequals/index.html

Surely, I'd like to appreciate liberty of broadcasting all-female TV station in Afghanistan. But, I doubt it can really reflect real opinions from females.
There would be many kinds of the issues that are embarrassing to broadcast.
So, I think it would be better to launch website for consulting issues from females in Afghanistan.

But, I think it's not bad to broadcast all-female TV to give the impression that Afghanistan became generous to females.

Why don't you take safer aircraft?

What it was really like to fly on Concorde
https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/concorde-flying-what-was-it-like/index.html

When I saw Concorde on TV, I thought that there would be more and more aircrafts fly as fast as or faster than Concorde.
But, in fact, it hasn't yet happened. Furthermore, all of the Concordes ended their service.

I guess that's because research on aircrafts has recently focuses on safety rather than speed.
In my opinion, it's better tendency, considering what happened to transportations looking down on safety and focusing on speed-up.

Why don't they prepare for earthquake?

Papua New Guinea earthquake death toll rises to 67
https://edition.cnn.com/2018/03/05/asia/papua-new-guinea-earthquake-update-intl/index.html

I wonder why most of the countries along Pacific Earthquake Belt don't take measures for collapsing of the fragile buildings.
In Japan, Every building built after Hanshin Earthquake is durable even if it's shaken by magnitude 7 class earthquake.

But, some buildings in Taiwan and Papua New Guinea, which huge earthquake hit, seem to collapse easily.

If the reason why they don't take measures for earthquake is financial issue, United Nations should think about how to ensure money for that.

Why did he say that as the leader of the world's economically biggest democratic country?

edition.cnn.com

It shows how President Trump ignores democracy. Trump should notice that he is in charge of controlling world's biggest democratic country.
Needless to say, he must be the last man to praise power consolidation of the leader in the world's biggest dictatorship country.
He may have intended to remark it to show good relationship with China without thinking a lot about what it means.
But, we cannot but say that his statemant was so careless one.

If he had to show intimacy amid extension of President Xi's position, he should have praised other things by avoiding to refer to consolidated power.

Why is it difficult to install new types of aircrafts?

Starling Jet: A jet airplane that takes off like a helicopter
https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/starling-jet-airplane/index.html

It's difficult to invent new types of the aircrafts. But, it's more difficult to commercialize it.
If you invest money infinitively, you will be able to invent something. But, if you want to commercialize it, it must be competitive with current one in terms of cost, speed, service, and so on.

In this case, cost of manufacturing Starling Jet and fuel consumption of it per passenger would be compared with cost for runways, manufacturing cost of current aircrafts and fuel consumption of it per passenger.

Why are there popular Disneyland and Deficit Disneyland?

Disney will pour another $2.4 billion into Disneyland Paris
http://money.cnn.com/2018/02/27/news/disneyland-paris-investment/index.html

Compared with Tokyo Disneyland, turnout of Paris Disneyland seems to be less than that of Tokyo.
But, if you visit Tokyo Disneyland on weekends, you will have to wait for popular attractions for more than 2 hours.
What I saw in Tokyo Disneysea last year was that more than a hundred people were queueing up for just entering a restaurant.

On the other hand, 2 years ago in Paris, I haven't waited for attractions for more than 40 mins, though it was on Sunday.

I wonder why such a difference occurs.
