RER NG enters service in Paris

I wonder why RER likes to install double decker trains onto commuter lines. Usually, double decker trains just have one or two doors per one car, due to their structural restriction. So, it means that it takes longer time to board and alight trains. Diagram of RER lines has enough time to spend more time at each station?
