Amtrak introduces revised fare structure

Amtrak seems to have introduced flexible fare system based on demand. (I don't know how they are going to do in the future).
It means that fare goes down during low season, and goes up during high season. But, it's the same as flight fare. So, there is no convenience that people can hop on the train without checking fare.
I think that the railway should install fixed fare system, except for special campaign.
