It's difficult to estimate if eggs of the parasites derive from ancient human bodies. There is a possibility that parasites came from nearby farm to cesspit to seek better place to lay eggs.
Anyway, ancient people must have been susceptible to various disease, because they didn't have enough knowledge to kill virus and had limited access to safe food or water, due to lack of cooking tools or lack of logistics to supply them.
