‘This is a war’: Californians seek affordable housing alternatives

As the population in the United States is increasing and material costs are rising, it's becoming much more difficult to buy a house with reasonable price in the United States.
Especially, in the central district of mega cities, housing price is skyrocketing.
So, the better way would be to live in suburbs. Some say commuting time is meaningless. But, if you take a train, you can read books, browse smartphone, or study something. It is not meaningless.
