Passengers name ‘Lastochka’ the best train on Russia’s railway network

Elektrichka used to be the name of suburban trains in Russia. But, the rapider train of it was named ‘Lastochka’.
I guess Russian Railway would have to cope with competition with paralleling bus routes or private vehicles to keep the number of passengers.
That may have given birth to Lastochka
