Alstom deploys APS system for Eminonu-Alibeykoy tramway line in Turkey

This system can be applied to subways collecting electricity from third rails. That's because trucks on third rails are dangerous in terms of getting high voltage electricity from the rails, if a passenger falls onto the trucks.
On the other hand, APS system seems to suspend electricity, if train is not on truck. It's safer than third rail.
