Cars with higher fuel efficiency must be attractive in the United States, where society is highly dependent on oil. Reduction of oil use will help them reduce living cost a lot. On the other hand, auto manufacturers in the United States are not interested in pursuing fuel efficiency. I wonder why they are ignoring that.
