Yas Island, where the theme park is located, seems to be neighboring to Abu Dhabi International Airport.
It means the road between downtown of Abu Dhabi and the airport will have congested traffic.
Though Abu Dhabi Metro is planned, it is scheduled to open after 2020. I'm not sure about how authority of the UAE would deal with the problem until the opening of Abu Dhabi Metro.
I understand endeavor of the country to be away from oil-dependent society by boosting sightseeing. But, I wish they would mind transportation networks which are not dependent on oil.
