Why are foreign buildings unfavorable?

These Chinese buildings are coming to a city near you

Though buildings imported from different countries are criticized, they can be historic heritage more than a hundred years later.
For example, Japan's buildings built in World War 2 are preserved as heritage in Dalian, Taiwan, and S.Korea etc. And, in India, historic buildings under colonialism by UK are treated as symbols of each city.

If the buildings designed by Chinese are not suitable for climate in India, that's what we should avoid.
But, otherwise, development by Chinese investers doesn't seem bad.
