The CRH1A train referred to the article must be CRH380D, judging from its appearance. 380 indicates the initial maximum speed of the train. But, due to crash accidents in Wenzhou, the speed was reduced to less than 300km/h.
The accident was caused by insufficient signalling system. But, the speed seems to be treated as the cause of the accident.
