Travel Diary on March 20, 2014

In the morning, the problem happened to us. Yesterday, the receptionist changed our rooms. But, the change was not reflected on hotel register book. It confused today's receptionist who can't speak English at all. After searching for our names on the book, she gave up and allowed us to leave from the hotel.

We went to Yuexiu Park via Guangzhou Subway Line 8 and Line 2. That's because we wanted to visit Museum of the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King, which displays relics of Nan-Yue, the country existed in Han dynasty.

One of my friends were spoken to by a staff who is a fluent Japanese speaker. The staff intended to persuade him into buying souvenirs, but failed.
Next, we went to Guangzhou South Railway station to board Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity Railway. When I bought tickets at ticket window, staff said to me something. But, I couldn't hear. Judging from explanation of a man behind me, I was told to pay 210CNY instead of 300CNY. Maybe, she thought it would be troublesome to pay back 90CNY.

Anyway, we purchased the tickets and boarded the train.

I found a roadsign saying"Zhongshan Hot Spring". I wondered whether Chinese people are interested in hotsprings. We arrived at Zhuhai Station 2 minutes earlier than scheduled.

And, before passing through Gongbei immigration, we ate lunch at a building near the immigration.
Due to delayed service at the restaurant, it took 2 hours to finish eating.

When passing through immigration on Macau side, we couldn't understand which gate we should proceed.
A staff told us to proceed the gates named "Passport", which means "For visitors". In addition to it, the letters were shown only in Portuguese and Cantonese. So, it was too confusing.

After immigration, we headed for Venetian, which imitates streets of Venice. But, since we didn't know which bus we should take, we boarded Transmac bus(澳門新福利公共汽車) for airport and walked to Venetian. We just hanged out the facility.

We boarded free bus for Macau Ferry Terminal(港澳碼頭), and changed buses for our hotel.
