I knew that North Korea once planned to make main lines double tracks. But, the plan seems to be suspended due to bad economic state.
But, when we see the satellite photograph of Phyongui Line on Cheongcheon-gang river, we can see bridge piers which are parallel to the line.

・renewal construction is undergoing
・double track plan is undergoing
・double track plan or renewal plan was implemented only to be abandoned
There is enormous room to be improved on railways in North Korea.
