A friend of my senior researcher ate food sold at a supermarket. Then, he had diarrhea which might be caused by the food. He was so scolded that he complained about it to a clerk of the supermarket. The clerk took him to the second floor. After a while, a man whose fingers are cut*1 appeared in front of him. As he feared for the man, he apologized to him and went out the supermarket right away.
The supermarket boasts cheapest prices of groceries. So, a rumor says there would be terror reasons for the prices. One of them is a sanitary problem. Many people assume the supermarket spends least money on sanitary control. The other of them is that the supermarket is run by a gangster who ignores the Labor Standards Law.
In this incident, both of the reasons are revealed.
