I often hear that it is uncomfortable to stay with acquaintances in train without conversation.
Especially, it is likely to be stated by females.
But, I don't mind such a minor problem.
For example, I took a train with my friend on my way home. After departure, he said that he would sleep because he was tired.
I allowed him to do so, saying "You may well sleep.".
Few minutes later, I also began to sleep in the train. In this case, neither of us feels uncomfortable.
What I want to say is that friendship is not always formed by keeping on talking.
