I'm often said to be a big eater by my counterparts, despite my grandfather regards me as a small eater.
When my grandfather was a teenager, he used to eat much more than I do. On the other hand, most of my friends eat less than I do.
I don't know why such phenomenon happen. According to another website, more young men order dishes which are less quantity and include less oil.
Long time ago, men being small eaters are not favored by women because the quantity a man eat was thought to be proportion to the strength of the man.
But, with the increase of "herbivore men(Sosyoku-kei Danshi)", weaker men attract more women on that being "Weak" seems to be "considerate" for women.
