Why do they dislike trains?

www.railwaygazette.com

A aquaintance from Queensland yesterday said "Public transporation is seen as a negative one even in urban areas. If you commute somewhere by that, surroundings will look down on you. That's because you cannot seemingly afford to buy a car."
I think it's not good idea, considering the impact on global environment.
But, Queensland goverment seems to focus on refurbishment of Queensland Rail.
Is there a politician who wants to promote use of public transportation?

Why can they show alternative plan?

edition.cnn.com

Mainly, people in London use 5 airports. It shows how often they usually use aircrafts, considering that London is just 28th largest city in the world, and few cities of the top 28 cities have more than 5 airports.
If protesters want to resisit expansion plan of Heathrow airport, they should propose alternative transportation to deal with saturated demand for the airport.
For, example, diversifying destinations of Eurostar trains and promoting building bullet trains from England to Scotland would be effective.

Why is it possible to fund illegal association?

edition.cnn.com

At first, US tried to fund police officers to keep safety in El-salvador.
But, US didn't check how they work, it became possible to fund police officers who carry out illegal executions.
Though it's not good to ignore illegal use of public funding, it's difficult to monitor all of the fundings.
The only way to avoid illegal use would be unannounced inspection of how they are used.

Why are they painted with the same color?

Blue, pink and gold: A guide to Rajasthan's color-coded royal cities
https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/rajasthan-india-color-cities/index.html

It would be tourist attraction to paint all the buildings with single colour in a city.
But, when it comes to living there, I guess it would be difficult to identify specific facility at a glance.

For example, is it possible to find out Mcdonald's painted with the same color with the neighboring buildings from far away?

Why is it great invention?

www.metro-report.com

I was surprised at lighting system of the priority seats.
It's breakthrough for pregnants to let sitting passengers offer the seats without asking them.
Even if every passenger knows it would be better to offer seats for those who need priority seats,
chatting passengers or those who are devoted to watching smartphones can hardly notice if there are such passengers.
I wish transmitters for pregnants could be global standard to make the device usable in the other metro systems, if its lighting system expands to them.

Why is it dangerous to drive cars in different countries?

Live out your Mario Kart dreams on the streets of Tokyo
https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/maricar-tokyo/index.html

If drivers are not accustomed to left-hand-traffic, it's dangerous to drive vehicles in Japan, including Mario Cart.
As well as left-hand-traffic, detail rules of traffic can also be the cause of traffic accidents. For example, in some countries, you can turn left or right, even if signal shows red light.
But, in most part of Japan, it's not the case.

International drivers permit should be revised to let people learn traffic rules in difficult countries where that is valid.

Why world's biggest democratic nation do that?

Trump: Deport without 'judges or court cases'
https://edition.cnn.com/2018/06/24/politics/ron-johnson-immigration-cnntv/index.html

This is not the thing that happens in countries regulated by law.
If he concerns about illegal immigration, he should think about how to strengthen border check.
Building walls would be one of the measures for that.
Though I didn't feel good when he referred to building walls, it would be better than deporting without legal procedure.
